On Friday 31 May at 9.00 pm a meeting will be held for the citizens of the Borgo in the rectory of San Giovanni Battista Decollato in Rollo. The meeting aims to define the most important points to present jointly in view of the municipal elections. The most urgent problems and interventions will be defined by a survey among citizens. The points presented were divided into 3 groups:
GENERAL ISSUES: Water (leaks, rainwater management, wells), sewerage (leaks and reporting to regional bodies), waste (increase in containers, video surveillance, increase in collection passages), wild animals(barriers, behaviour...), and roads (potholes, depressions , water grids);
PUBLIC DECORATION: Street cleaning (sweepers, grass cuttings, drain maintenance), wall grouting (grouting concrete walls and decoration with artistic murals), replacements (benches, damaged signs and DAE container), Roman road (pavement recovery, restoration of collapsed walls, bollards at the entrances, lighting and signs), church area (recovery of square paving, gutters, water drains, ramps and stairways, lighting), rectory area (staircase, pedestrian street, flowerbed, handrails and lighting), events area (fences, safe accesses, walls and parapets), other interventions (parking lots, damaged fences and public drinking fountain);
ENHANCEMENT: Event noticeboards, REL hiking route map, local history and historical route signs, archive photographic signs, recovery of parking at the intersection between Strada Comunale di Rollo and Strada Colline, recovery of cemetery area, video-monitored neighborhood signs, bookends and meeting place (kiosk).
Furthermore, citizens are invited to vote on their preferences regarding the methods of separate waste collection to be requested from the municipality in a dedicated survey.
