For the final evening of Note tra gli Ulivi we will have the opportunity to host for the first time an entire quintet composed of Francesca Roca on guitar, Luigi Marras on drums, Stefano Mati on saxophone, Gianluca Gallucci on double bass and Matteo Mannino on trumpet. All very talented young artists who will bring together unreleased songs and well-known covers.
The most famous jazz "standards" will be revived, revisited in a modern key by the quintet. This term indicates jazz pieces that have become a fixed presence at the repertoire level: a standard is a piece that has been recorded in numerous versions, having had widespread success, and has entered the common jazz repertoire, perhaps starting from popular motifs revisited in jazz key.
The concert is totally free and during the evening it is possible to dine with Ligurian dishes and wines under the olive trees of Borgo di Rollo.
